Ego Symposium is the feature length debut of Morimura Yasumaya, the noted Japanese appropriation artist. Featured in This is Not A Selfie, Yasumaya borrows images from historical artists (ranging from Rembrandt to Cindy Sherman), and inserts his own face and body into them; many of which go against his racial, ethnic, and gender boundaries as an Asian male. $5 movie ticket, plus $10 admission after 5pm on Thursdays.
