Field Trip: Neiman Marcus Art Collection

The Contemporaries will be having a private tour of the corporate collection of luxury retailer Neiman Marcus at Tampa’s International Plaza.
Curator of Contemporary Art, Katherine Pill and Kurt Piazza, President of The Contemporaries Committee, will provide a guided walk through of this diverse collection featuring both local and regional artists, including Richard Beckman, Mernet Larsen, and Charles Parkhill. Visitors will also learn about the history of collecting started by Neiman’s former president, Stanley Marcus (“Mr. Stanley”), and the retailer’s program of exhibiting regional artists based on each store’s location.
